![]() ![]() PS: Delores runs just fine on my Macbook with same OS (M1 processor, mind you), Mable too. The UK and US have signed a landmark deal to work together on testing advanced artificial intelligence (AI). What does play though, plays just fine (especially on the M1/M2 processors).ġ) Stop using Galaxy, even though it exists, it might as well be non-existant as the Linux version.Ģ) Don't bother with games unless they're 64bits.ģ) Look for source ports of specific games when available (we're talking Doom games for instance, not something indie of course). However, as explained, and given you have the latest OS, you can't run 32bit games (you can install them though, weirdly enough).Ĭontrary to popular belief, you CAN game on a Mac, but are way way WAY more limited on what you can actually play. This means that games that might be Mac compatible (as seen on Steam for instance) are shown as not Mac compatible on GOG but when bought you can download the Mac installer (not through Galaxy though). Games like Desktop Dungeons suffer from this, as well as several others like the Shadowrun trilogy. The problem using MacOS with GOG games is twofold:ġ) Galaxy support on Mac is terrible, with no apple silicone version available even if the games themselves are (Neverwinter Nights for instance installs the Intel version through Galaxy but the Universal version through the stand-alone installer).Ģ) MacOS starting from Catalina dropped support for 32bits software in general, including games, and that means NO software at all works if it's not updated to 64bits. ![]()
